How do I access my profile?

You can access your user profile here. Under the "Login" tab at the top right, you can log in with your registered email address and password. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it here. Please use the email address you registered with at DOAG 2026 Database with Cloud Infrastructure. If you don't know it anymore, please contact our customer service.


Program

How can I favour individual lectures?

Use the favourites function in the agenda to create your own personal schedule for DOAG 2026 Database with Cloud Infrastructure. You don't even need to be logged into a user profile to do this. In the program, you will find the option to select your favourites for each presentation using the ⭐️ star icon ⭐️.

However, it is worth logging into your personal account: you can save your favourites centrally and call them up again on any device.

 

How can I access the 2026 on-demand program?

All presentations – except workshops – will be recorded. The recordings will be available to all participants free of charge in the agenda approximately one week after the event. Simply log in to your profile, select a talk, scroll down and play the recording.

For anyone who missed DOAG 2026 Database with Cloud Infrastructure, our on-demand ticket is available in our shop, which gives you access to all recordings and presentation slides for at least one year.

Arrival & Departure

Where will DOAG 2026 Database with Cloud Infrastructure take place?

DOAG 2026 Database with Cloud Infrastructure will take place at Heide Park Soltau. You can get there by bus, train or plane to Hanover.

From Hanover train station and Hanover airport, you can use our shuttle service Heide Park Express by DOAG with the appropriate ticket. It will take you to our event location – and back again!

Where can I park and how much does it cost?

Heide Park Resort has two large car parks with space for 8,000 cars, 300 buses and numerous motorhomes.

  • Day ticket for cars, vans and motorcycles: €14 per day
     
  • Day ticket for motorhomes, cars with caravans and camper vans: €20 per day

 

Can I use public transport with my conference ticket?

No. Your conference ticket for DOAG 2026 Database with Cloud Infrastructure does not include a ticket for public transport. You must purchase this separately or for the Heide Park Express by DOAG from Hanover station or airport. Information on public transport and general travel to Heide Park Soltau can be found on the park operator's website under Travel.

 

Bus Shuttle from the Train Station to Hotels and Heide Park

We have arranged a shuttle service for you from Soltau train station to the Heide Park Adventure Hotel. The following route shows the stops at the hotels served. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.

Unfortunately, we cannot serve the Landhotel Schnuck or the Anders Hotel Walsrode with the shuttle.

 


Accomodation

What accommodation options do I have?

We offer you the opportunity to book your overnight stays directly at Heide Park Resort through our allotment in the Database Shop. Please note that our terms and conditions for tickets for participants also apply to overnight stays.

Where else can I stay, if the Adventure Hotel and the Holiday Camp are fully booked?

For further accommodation options, we recommend the following hotels and guesthouses outside the city. These hotels are not available via our shop and must be booked separately:

For accommodations in Soltau (not marked with *), we provide a shuttle bus to transport passengers from the hotel to Heide Park and back again. Further information and stops will follow shortly.

Tickets

Where and when do I get my ticket?

You can already book your tickets for DOAG 2026 Database with Cloud Infrastructure  in the Database Shop! You can then view all your events under "Tickets & Accomodation" in your profile (see description above), download your conference ticket and have it digitally scanned on site with your smartphone or tablet. To do this, select the "DOAG 2026 Database with Cloud Infrastructure event" and click on the red "more" icon under "Actions".

If you still prefer a physical ticket that also serves as a name badge, please print it out yourself in advance and bring it with you. We will provide you with suitable sleeves including a lanyard on site.

If you use your ticket on your smartphone, please make sure that your smartphone is always sufficiently charged. You can find out how to access your profile in the section Profile section (see above).


I can't download my ticket. What do I have to do?

If the ticket download is not activated, this may be due to the following reason: Has your ticket already been paid for? If this has not yet happened, please make the payment as soon as possible. You can also pay for your ticket on site at the ticket office, although you should allow a little more time during peak times. Your ticket will only be activated once it has been paid for. If all this does not apply, please contact our customer service.


I would like to book several tickets for my colleagues. What do I have to do for this?

Ideally, your colleagues should book their tickets for DOAG 2026 Database with Cloud Infrastructure independently via their own profile.

If this is not possible, you can purchase as many tickets as you like and then assign them to individual colleagues and manage the collective order in your user account. A user profile of the persons to whom a ticket is to be assigned is necessary for the ticket assignment – it is not possible without this. Your colleagues can register here.

Afterwards, your colleagues can view and edit their event information in their own profile.


I have booked tickets for several colleagues, but these tickets are not stored in their profiles. What can I do?

If you have placed an order for your colleagues, you can manage the collective order in your user account. Please note that the tickets will only be activated after payment. If this step has already been taken, please contact our customer service.

After the tickets have been allocated, your colleagues will find their ticket in their profile – please note: they need their own profile for this.


Can I still buy a ticket on site?

Yes, this is possible.


Speaker

When and how do I submit my presentation? When is the briefing for speakers?

As a main speaker, you take part in the entire Database event at Heide Park Soltau free of charge and have the opportunity to attend many presentations and take part in the evening event. At the conference, you will benefit from the synergy of the Database network, exchange ideas with other participants and make new contacts from all over the world. Here are the most important things:

Important Dates

The Call for Papers starts in December, 2025 and will be open until January 19, 2026. Our program team will then create a suitable program.

You will be notified if your submission has been accepted or rejected by February 10, 2026. Please have some patience.

Please upload your presentation materials by May 17, 2026 as a PDF file with a maximum size of 10 MB

  • Login to your profile at https://my.doag.org/ and use your registered email address.

  • Forgot your login details? Please contact office@doag.org.
  • After login you can upload your presentation files under "My Presentations". Please note that your files are publicly available to the participants. 

Note: Co-speakers can also upload their documents.

What we provide

The following equipment is available to the speakers as standard in all rooms:

  • a projector (16:9 format) plus screen or a large screen 
  • Microphone
  • Wireless LAN
     

What you bring yourself

  • Laptops are not provided, please bring your own computer.
  • Are you working with a Mac? Then remember to bring an adapter, thank you.

Recording of the presentation

All presentations will be recorded. If you do not agree, please send us an e-mail to office@~@doag.org.

As a main speaker, you will receive a free ticket, take part in the entire event and have the opportunity to attend other presentations. Co-speakers must purchase their ticket.

After the event, you can view and use the recorded presentations and the available content.

NextGen

What are the requirements for taking part in the NextGen program?

You must be either a student or trainee and apply for a free membership with DOAG. If you don't have a membership yet, you can apply for one here. You can find more information on our NextGen page.

WiFi

How does it work with the WiFi?

Free WiFi is of course available throughout the conference and for hotel guests. We will announce the password on site.
